Cellular Driver Installation

This section will cover the steps necessary to install the drivers needed to use a

cellular phone with your Viking PC Card modem.

Note: The supplied software is preloaded with the Motorola StarTac driver.

Drivers for other supported cellular phones can be found on our Web site at:

www.vikingcomponents.com

Note: Cellular phone cables are required for this option. Also the connection

speed for cellular phones is limited to 9600 Baud. Higher connection speeds will

result in intermittent disconnections.

1. Insert the “Viking Cellular Driver” diskette into your systems floppy drive. Open

the floppy diskette drive from “My Computer” on your desktop. Double-click on

the “Flashcom” icon.

2. The “Modem Flash Loader” window will open. Click on the “Info...” button.
